Objetivo: El siguiente artículo tiene como propósito la revisión de la literatura existente cuyo enfoque sea las herramientas tecnológicas utilizadas para el abordaje del paciente con síntomas de salud mental, de manera virtual, para describir las ventajas, la eficacia, la efectividad y los beneficios de estas herramientas, a partir de la literatura encontrada. Métodos: se realizó una búsqueda en las bases de datos Pubmed, Elsevier, UpToDate, Journal of Medical Internet Research y Google Académico. Se identificó un total de 58 artículos (...) que versan sobre la eficacia y efectividad de las diferentes modalidades digitales (tales como aplicaciones, cuestionarios en línea, mensajes de texto, etc.) que tratan la salud mental. Resultados: la búsqueda realizada arrojó un total de 58 artículos. Tras la eliminación de duplicados, el número fue de 50 artículos. Después de la caracterización de la información basada en la revisión de la totalidad del contenido, fueron elegidos 30 artículos para que sirvieran como base para la construcción de la síntesis de datos. Conclusiones: las herramientas virtuales utilizadas en salud mental ofrecen un sin fin de beneficios para prestar un servicio con un acceso más sencillo a la población, de forma económica y efectiva, sin temor a que los pacientes sean estigmatizados al momento de buscar ayuda, como se pudo evidenciar en los artículos presentados. Además, las herramientas digitales utilizadas en psiquiatría han demostrado ser eficaces y seguras, sin embargo, son de reciente aparición y cuentan con una cantidad limitada de estudios que demuestren objetivamente su eficacia en esta área. The article attempts to verify that inappropriate use of information provided by the media can increase risks for persons who are susceptible to mental illness. The impact of Colombian news in 2014 related to the word suicide was studied to that end. The news was analyzed subsequently through a survey with eight questions applied by two members of the group who had been trained to conduct the study. The idea was to delve deeper and to see the effect of the (...) media and its stigmatization. Nowadays, adolescents are more exposed to situations in which their mood can be affected by improper use of the media, bearing in mind that the worst outcome would be that it leads to suicidal behavior. El artículo se ocupa con la problemática metodológica referida al concepto ambiguo del “inicial y regularmente” en la ontología-fundamental de Heidegger. Por un lado, indica que el Dasein existe “inicial y regularmente” en su desempeño preteorético; por otro lado, que el Dasein existe “inicial y regularmente” en la impropiedad. En esta investigación se expondrá la imposibilidad metodológica de mostrar y acreditar hermenéutico-fenomenológicamente que el Dasein por lo general se desempeña impropiamente, primero porque implicaría una colocación acrítica ingenua en el punto (...) de partida mismo y, segundo, porque la fenomenología hermenéutica no se correlaciona a generalizaciones. This paper deals with the methodological problem referring to the ambiguous concept of “proximally and for the most part” in Heidegger's fundamental-ontology. On the one hand, it indicates that the Dasein exists “proximally and for the most part” in its pre-theoretical performance; on the other hand, that the Dasein exists “proximally and for the most part” in the inauthenticity. This research will expose the methodological impossibility of exhibiting and demonstrating hermeneutic-phenomenologically that the Dasein generally exists inauthentic. Firstly, because it would imply a naive uncritical placement at the starting point and, secondly, because hermeneutic phenomenology does not correlate to generalizations. (shrink)

Este trabajo despliega la pertenencia “específica” o “más propia” de ciertas maneras del ser (p.e. existencia, ser-a-la-mano) a ciertos entes, tema que Heidegger menciona, pero no profundiza. La exposición se articula en cuatro pasos. Primero, se aclara la confusa con-ceptualidad de las maneras del ser. Segundo, se indaga el vínculo entre las maneras del ser y los entes, considerando a ambos como fenómenos y mostrando en ello la imposibilidad de captar este vínculo y la consecuente pertenencia específica según un “subjetivismo” (...) u “objetivismo”. Tercero, se acredita la propuesta principal de esta investigación, a saber, el rasgo fenoménico, ni subjetivo ni objetivo, de la pertenencia específica de las maneras del ser a los entes y la posibilidad de su modificabilidad. Cuarto, se aborda el existir preteoré-tico del Dasein en cuanto el suelo analítico en que se explicita hermenéutico-fenomenológicamente la pertenencia específica y su modificabilidad. (shrink)

Esta investigación aborda el tema de la diferencia ontológica desde la perspectiva de las maneras del ser (ser-cómo), uno de los momentos constitutivos de la idea complejo-unitaria del ser. Tema y perspectiva se complementan recíprocamente. Primero, la diferencia ontológica posibilita evidenciar el fenómeno óntico de las maneras de ser del ente y el ontológico de las maneras del ser. Segundo, ambas maneras proveen una palpable visualización sobre los términos de la diferencia ontológica, desbrozando el terreno para distinguir al ser, no (...) sólo del ente, sino de la entidad, la cual está determinada unilateralmente por el ser-dado-delante (Vorhandenheit) en sentido amplísimo. The goal of this article is to understand the concept of poetry in the broad context of Heidegger’s “early” thought, around 1919 and 1930. To that end, we seek to disclose a relation that in Heidegger remains implicit and in the secondary literature absent. This is the relation between poetry and the ways of Being (existence, ready-to-hand, present-at-hand, etc.). Since Heidegger did not explicitly thematize poetry in this broad context, the setup of this article consists of three main steps, in (...) which we make explicit the implicit ontological notion of Heidegger about poetry and, we shall argue, the ontological status of the poeticized. First, we distinguish between the theoretical and the pre-theoretical dimensions of existence, which enable us to explain that for Heidegger poetry is a pre-theoretical letting-see of the various entities that we encounter in the immediate everyday life that is mostly overlooked because of their “self-evident” and “obvious” presence. In this first step we argue that for Heidegger poetry is partially an explicit ontic letting-see. Second, we address the ways of Being in order to secure the systematic horizon for our interpretation regarding the relationship between the ways of Being and poetry. Third, we discuss that an indicative and non-conceptual letting-see of pre-theoretical ways of Being takes place in poetry through the respective poetized entity. In the second and third steps, we exhibit that according to Heidegger poetry results ultimately in an implicit ontological letting-see of the ways of Being. (shrink)

Diese Untersuchung hat zum Ziel, das Wesensverhältnis zwischen Interexistenzialität und Seinsfrage immanent offenzulegen. Die systematische Herausarbeitung erwächst aus zwei einfachen Fragen: Wie wird der Mitmensch in der seinsvergessenden Uneigentlichkeit in seinem Sein vortheoretisch verstanden? Wie ist im Gegenzug dazu, das eigentliche Verständnis des Mitmenschen hermeneutisch-phänomenologisch zu entschlüsseln und zu exponieren? Im Rahmen der Fundamentalontologie Heideggers konstituiert sich das spezifische Thema aus Sachfeld (Interexistenzialität), Sachhorizont (Seinsfrage), Sachhinsicht (Uneigentlichkeit und Eigentlichkeit) und Leitfaden (Flucht). Der Einblick in diesen Sachzusammenhang macht ganz allgemein zweierlei (...) sichtbar: die verstellenden Folgen der Seinsvergessenheit im Horizont der Interexistenzialität und die Grundrolle der Seinsfrage für die Gewinnung des wesensmäßigen Verständnisses und Verhaltens angesichts des Mitmenschen als jeseinig-existierendes Mitdasein. : La tarea se concentra en liberar una posibilidad prefigurada en el fenómeno del uno, a saber, la comprensión-interpretante impropia sobre el prójimo concreto. Esto requiere distinguir respecto al fenómeno del uno la doble direccionalidad de su sentido: se refiere tanto al quién impropio (uno-mismo) así como también a la pre-interpretación impropia en la que el dasein en-cada-caso-mío se interpreta a sí mismo y simultáneamente a sus prójimos. Junto con ello diferenciamos a los “otros” neutrales e indiferenciados en general, a (...) quienes el dasein en-cada-caso-mío también pertenece constitutivamente, del prójimo concreto. Sobre la base de esta doble diferenciación se logra el acceso teorético a la manera cómo el prójimo concreto es experimentado implícitamente a la luz de la pre-interpretación del uno-mismo, cuya exploración exegética se desenvuelve según el hilo conductor del fenómeno de la huida. El elemento constitutivo del tercer momento estructural del cuidado en Ser y Tiempo genera problemas interpretativos. A partir de tres argumentos desarrollados sistemáticamente se muestra la imposibilidad temática de instalar la caída en el mencionado tercer momento y la plausibilidad de comprenderlo como el estar-junto formal, al cual le conviene con igualdad de derecho tanto una modalidad propia como una impropia. La conclusión a la que se llega es que la caída no integra constitutivamente el cuidado ontológico, sino que más (...) bien éste en sus tres momentos unitarios posibilita estructuralmente y explica motivacionalmente el origen de la caída. La meta de este trabajo estriba en sacar a la luz el subsuelo ontológico que sostiene el abordaje y el tratamiento de la interexistencialidad en el capítulo IV de la primera sección de Ser y Tiempo. Primero, esclarecemos conceptualmente las indicaciones sobre la cotidianidad y la “absorción” en el mundo que aparecen en la introducción general del capítulo mencionado, lo que despeja el camino para demostrar que la interexistencialidad de ninguna forma está enso-gada necesariamente con la impropiedad. Segundo, mostramos que (...) el (primer) subsuelo ontológico es la “diferencia radical” entre la existencia y el ser-dado-delante [Vorhandenheit] en sentido amplio como “objetualidad”; sobre ella sostiene la necesidad de plantear la pregunta por el quién del Dasein en una forma que corresponda al dinamismo ínsito al “sí mismo”, el cual puede concretarse en un yo-mismo apropiado o un uno-mismo impropio que se pierde en los “otros”. Tercero, se patentiza que el desarrollo de la interexistencialidad entronca en el (segundo) subsuelo ontológico de la “variedad del ser”, argumentando que los tres aspectos fun-damentales de la interexistencialidad, a saber, el ser-con, el mundo compartido y la latente comprensión preontológica de los otros Dasein, solo son visibles y comprensibles al amparo de la interpretación ontológica del Dasein propio y del ajeno en cuanto existencias, distinguiendo especialmente a este último de determinaciones ontológicas que no le pertenece originariamente a su “ser”. Both the early hermeneutics of facticity and the mature question of being have their starting point in the investigation of everyday life. Underlining Being and Time, we discuss two dimensions of the everyday life phenomenon, namely its «content» and «modal» sense. The relationship between both of them shows up as a dynamic tendency and an internal reference. On the basis of the distinction of the two-dimensional everyday life we deal with the problem of modal indifference, which is apparently closely connected (...) with the «content» sense of everyday life, in order to find out whether it could be a third way to execute existence besides authenticity and inauthenticity. We reject the plain correspondence between everyday life with modal indifference and inauthenticity, taking into account the thesis in Being and Timeabout the possibility of authentic liberating solicitude in the facticity of being together, whose analysis remains within the limits of everyday life. Esta investigación tiene por objetivo indagar el fenómeno de la huida (φυγή, fuga) tal como aparece en el libro IX, capítulo 4 de la Ética Nicomáquea de Aristóteles. La finalidad temática principal estriba en sacar a la luz que tanto su fundamentación teorética última, así como también su fundamento intrínseco radican en el principio metafísico del acto y potencia. Sobre la base de este principio metafísico mostramos que el “sí mismo” del cual el vicioso vive dividido en la huida consiste (...) en el entendimiento recto actual, revelándose este como el correlato preciso ante el cual huye el vicioso. Esta interpretación recupera la relevancia sistemática de la huida en el contexto de la amistad, ya que la huida hace visible concretamente la relación “amical” que el vicioso mantiene con sus prójimos, a quienes comprende tácitamente como medios-de-huida. Diabetes contributes to COVID‐19 deaths in Colombia and Mexico, where the latter having the highest prevalence of diabetes among OECD countries. Some reports consider that advertising influences diabetes by confusing labels on ultra‐processed foods and soft drinks that lead to unhealthy food choices. Both countries are in the process of modifying their labeling legislation; however, governments and food industries have pushed to delay its implementation. Using a mixed research design, we interviewed 550 consumers in both countries during June–July 2020; a (...) high number of respondents misunderstand today's food labeling and are unaware of the new labeling legislation. Respondents strongly agree that the food industry should be in charge of changing the labels; otherwise, they would consider not buying their products. Using cluster analysis, we identified three groups that would help design public policies, nutritional and educational campaigns. Although changes in food labeling alone are not enough to reduce obesity and diabetes rates, food labels constitute public health tools due they assist consumers to make food and nutritional choices (considering that nutrition can help prevent and overcome COVID‐19). The costs of maintaining current labels could increase Colombians and Mexicans illnesss and poverty. These deceptive practices of the food industry would harm their brands. (shrink)

Through a hermeneutic-phenomenological reading we show the methodological commitments that support the approach of the interexistential theme, eminently in §26 of Being and Time and in constant consideration of its location and systematic dependence. This clarification allows, in positive contrast with the analysis of the world-environment of being-at-hand, to explain why the interexistential inquiry is set in motion within the primary daily horizon where the others are previously open, both mediately as intentional reference in the world-environment, as well as immediately (...) in the shared world. This initial approach in daily life is an inevitable methodological demand for the successful witnessing of the most basic being-with-another, thanks to which Heidegger manages to unveil the essential and a priori ontological structure of da-sein as being-with. En los textos hermenéutico-fenomenológicos de Heidegger, aprox. 1919-1932, el fenómeno de la huida acusa una presencia constante. Sin embargo, su dimensión ontológica permanece tácita, por lo que nuestra tarea presente radica en esclarecer el carácter esencialmente ontológico de la huida en tanto que opera un encubrimiento modal sobre la existencia. En un primer paso exponemos la propiedad e impropiedad desde la perspec-tiva del concernimiento ontológico a priori que determina al Dasein en relación a su existencia, mostrando que la huida es (...) una forma modalmente encubridora de tenerse a sí mismo. En un segundo paso investigamos el carácter parcial del encubrimiento modal de la existencia que toma lugar en la huida, pues la completa anulación de la existencia eliminaría el motivo de la huida y, por lo tanto, la huida misma, abriéndose en ello una inconsistencia. En un tercer paso aclaramos que la finitud tridimensional que determina a la existencia “cuidadora” funge como el desasosiego amenazante a priori que, en cuanto determinación esencial del Dasein, motiva tendencialmente la eventual huida ante la propia existencia. En un cuarto paso revelamos, a la luz de la finitud, los rasgos de independencia contextual y de constancia del movimiento que le pertenecen esencialmente al fenómeno de la huida. En un quinto paso esclarecemos que todos los diversos correlatos ante los que se huye confluyen en un punto nuclear que consiste en la existencia en cuanto el “ser” más propio y específico del Dasein. En el contexto de la metafísica de Suárez este estudio pone al descubierto el fenómeno tácito de la “inquietud” anímica cuando el hombre se encuentra privado del conocimiento de las primeras causas que es accesible en la metafísica. La fundamentación argumentativa del fenómeno se sustenta sistemáticamente a partir de la revisión interpretativa que realiza Suárez en Disputationes Metaphysicae I, Sección VI, números 1-15 sobre la primera frase de la Metafísica de Aristóteles, a la que traduce y comprende según su verdadero (...) sentido como “es innato al hombre el apetito natural de ciencia” y, más específicamente, de metafísica, cuyo entrelazamiento constitutivo con el hombre se basa en la esencia humana en cuanto animal racional. Dado que la suprema perfección y felicidad humana aquí y ahora estriba en la realización de la metafísica, su privación conlleva y explica el afloramiento de una “inquietud” autorreferencial en el hombre. This article presents the results of the research “Philosophical Attitude and Childhood: Teachers’ Formation and Transformation”, developed at the Universidad Pedagógica y Tecnológica de Colombia UPTC Kindergarten, by using the Community of Inquiry as a strategy to foster a philosophical attitude. The aim of this article is to shed light on an understudied aspect of Giordano Bruno's intellectual biography, namely, his career as a mathematical practitioner. Early interpreters, especially, have criticized Bruno's mathematics for being “outdated” or too “concrete”. However, thanks to developments in the study of early modern mathematics and the rediscovery of Bruno's first mathematical writings (four dialogues on Fabrizio's Mordente proportional compass), we are in a position to better understand Bruno's mathematics. In particular, this article aims to reopen (...) the question of whether Bruno anticipated the concept of infinitesimal quantity. It does so by providing an analysis of the dialogues on Mordente's compass and of the historical circumstances under which those dialogues were written. (shrink)

At the turn of the seventeenth century, Bruno and Cavalieri independently developed two theories, central to which was the concept of the geometrical indivisible. The introduction of indivisibles had significant implications for geometry – especially in the case of Cavalieri, for whom indivisibles provided a forerunner of the calculus. But how did this event occur? What can we learn from the fact that two theories of indivisibles arose at about the same time? These are the questions addressed in this paper. (...) Relying on the methodology of “historical epistemology”, this paper asserts that the similarities and differences between the theories of Bruno and Cavalieri can be explained in terms of “shared knowledge”. The paper shows that the idea – on which both Bruno and Cavalieri build – that geometrical objects are generated by motion was part of the mathematical culture of the time. Tracing this idea back to its Pythagorean origins thus sheds light on the relationship between motion and continuum in mathematics. (shrink)

Most studies of René Descartes’s legacy have focused on the novelty of his ideas, but little has been done to uncover the conditions that allowed these ideas to spread. Seventeenth-century Europe was already a small world—it presented a high degree of connectedness with a few brokers bridging otherwise disparate regions. A communication network known as the Republic of Letters enabled scholars to trade ideas—including Descartes’s—by means of correspondence. This article offers an analysis—both qualitative and quantitative—of a corpus of letters written (...) during Descartes’s lifetime and mentioning his name. The aim is to unveil the factors that drove the diffusion of Descartes’s ideas. The results are twofold. First, a close reading of the letters reveals that they were not used to create awareness about Descartes and his works but rather to discuss his ideas. Second, a network analysis of the letters shows that ideas do not spread like viruses, thus undermining the ‘social contagion’ model, and that weak ties are not as effective in promoting innovations as they are in circulating information. The purpose of this paper is to show the argument-establishing features of a Renaissance altarpiece. Looking to Panofsky’s seminal studies and to more recent contributions, this essay shows how in a special environment like the Florentine pre-Renaissance, people could easily relate to the evocative and contrastive potential of images. In the Santa Lucia de’ Magnoli Altarpiece painted by Domenico Veneziano we see an interesting dialogue between the main piece and the predella panels. ArgumentThe purpose of this paper is to provide an analysis of Giordano Bruno’s conception of mathematics. Specifically, it intends to highlight two aspects of this conception that have been neglected in previous studies. First, Bruno’s conception of mathematics changed over time and in parallel with another concept that was central to his thought: the concept of infinity. Specifically, Bruno undertook a reform of mathematics in order to accommodate the concept of the infinitely small or “minimum,” which was introduced at a (...) later stage. Second, contrary to what Héléne Védrine claimed, Bruno believed that mathematical objects were mind-dependent. To chart the parallel development of the conceptions of mathematics and infinity, a seven-year time span is considered, from the publication of Bruno’s first Italian dialogue (La cena de le ceneri,1584) to the publication of one of his last Latin works (De minimo, 1591). Questo numero di “Doctor Virtualis” si interroga sul concetto di ordine e sulla sua valenza all’interno della riflessione medievale: siamo di fronte a uno strumento conoscitivo con cui intellettuali di varia formazione e operanti in ambiti diversi cercano di affrontare la complessità del proprio mondo, oppure, come forse è lecito a prima vista attendersi da un’epoca come quella medievale, a una struttura metafisica già data, di tipo _oggettivo_, che rappresenta una garanzia rispetto alla disarmonia del mondo e delle relazioni fra (...) gli uomini? L’ipotesi di ricerca da cui trae origine questo numero è che an­che in epoca medievale l’ordine si presenti come esigenza e dunque come risultato di una costruzione che, attraverso i più svariati stru­menti conoscitivi, punti a rendere conto del disordine, cercando di sciogliere e dipanare l’intreccio di cause ed effetti che caratterizza i vari spazi del mondo abitati dagli uomini. Per questa ragione abbiamo deciso di intitolare il fascicolo _Frammenti di ordine e disordine nel Medioevo_. This issue of "Doctor Virtualis" questions the concept of order and its value within medieval reflection: are we dealing with a cognitive instrument with which intellectuals of various training and operating in different fields try to deal with the complexity of their world, or, as one might at first sight expect from an era such as the Middle Ages, with a metaphysical structure already given, of an _objective_ type, which represents a guarantee against the disharmony of the world and relations between men? The research hypothesis from which this issue originates is that even in the Middle Ages order presents itself as a need and therefore as the result of a construction that, through the most varied cognitive instruments, aims to account for disorder, attempting to unravel and disentangle the interweaving of causes and effects that characterises the various spaces of the world inhabited by men. Ever since its foundation in 1540, the Society of Jesus had had one mission—to restore order where Luther, Calvin and the other instigators of the Reformation had brought chaos. To stop the hemorrhage of believers, the Jesuits needed to form a united front. No signs of internal disagreement could to be shown to the outside world, lest the congregation lose its credibility. But in 1570s two prominent Jesuits, Cristophorus Clavius and Benito Perera, had engaged in a bitter controversy. L’articolo non si propone alcun obiettivo di esaustività, si presenta piuttosto come il primo passo di un’indagine che ha bisogno di altri e ben (...) più significativi livelli di approfondimento. _ The article aims to formulate a first hypothesis relating to the relationships between the different types of law present in the thought of Bonaventura da Bagnoregio; the reconstruction will take place starting from the bottom, starting from the _ lex politica _, to go back, only in the conclusions, to the _ lex aeterna _, in its double function of foundation and order. L’articolo esamina l’episodio della _spogliazione_ di Francesco d’Assisi intersecando la lettura delle prime narrazioni della vita del santo e dei romanzi contemporanei che hanno raccontato la sua vicenda. L’atto di rinuncia ai beni paterni e la rottura che esso determina lungo il corso della vita di Francesco vengono posti in relazione al tema della follia, che costituisce un cambio del paradigma con cui guardare il mondo e la sua logica. La scelta di Francesco di rinunciare al potere e alla proprietà (...) proprie del mondo, oppone ad esse una nuova logica che si traduce non nella rinuncia al mondo, ma nella capacità di trascenderlo rimanendo al suo interno. _The article examines the episode of the _dispossession_ of Francis of Assisi by intersecting the reading of the first narrations of the life of the saint and contemporary novels that have told his story. The act of renouncing his father's goods and the rupture that it determines along the course of Francis' life are placed in relation to the theme of folly, which constitutes a change of paradigm with which to look at the world and its logic. The choice of Francis to renounce the power and the property of the world, opposes to them a new logic that is translated not in the renunciation of the world, but in the capacity to transcend it by remaining within it_. Love, understood as sensus animae , operates by means of a knowledge identifying through a modification of the feeling, even if with one major difference compared to the other senses, as essentially characterized by freedom. The declination of love and (...) freedom is one of the possible uses of love. Alternate paths can be based on the doctrine of the double image of the man with the result that more is love as sensus animae , another is its rectitudo as identified in the decor . The relationship that develops between the knower and the first term of the cognitive changes, overcoming the opposition of subject and object of his rational knowledge.
